AKENEE, 24, Buford, GA., stutter age 5 to 90% of words in 70% of situations. Posted SSS in August, and no bad incidents, but still not using her Speech Plan and she refuses to let go of her belief that she is a stutterer. Ask her to use SP (Short-Link-Stop) more; drill counting words and linking. Her speech to me has been flawless for months. Her problem is a subconscious unwillingness to believe that she is not a PWS. Ask her to talk more under pressure and keep using her SP, even counting her words.
