Welcome to our world. My name is Leah and I have been fluent for over 3 years now. My goal is to eradicate stuttering from this earth. Ask me anything about my speech journey from being a PWS to becoming a fluent speaker, and I will be happy to answer any questions. The most important part of your journey will be believing that you can cure your stutter, along with putting in the necessary hours. Just by being here, you are one step closer to achieving your goal of being stutter-free. Are you ready to start the exciting adventure that will be your life?

June 25, 2020 at 8:42 pm #27218AnonymousInactiveHello there, my name is Yvette. I’ve been a PWS for about 12 years and I just started reading Lee Lovett’s book about a week ago. My stutter has been pretty much mildly situational up until this past year when I graduated college and started in the workforce, where I found that new stressors has caused me to stutter more. I’ve been so excited to start employing Lee’s methods and to be able to say whatever I want when i want! But over the past few days I’ve been feeling overwhelmed with how much work and determination this is going to take, especially since I don’t know any other PWS going through this journey, and am feeling alone in my own journey. I was wondering if you could provide some advice and/or words of encouragement as a PWSS. Thank you! 🙂

I did not think the methods would work as I had tried so many different things and all of them proved fruitless. And would you like to see where I am today? I speak on the phone and on Zoom calls all day long and I absolutely love speaking to people from all over the world in my job. I love my job and I love my life, all because I stopped stuttering. I would say that yes, it took me three months of determination and hard work. It took a lot of discipline and courage, but don’t all things that are worth achieving require you to work hard? Trust me, in three months time, you will wish you had started today!
What exactly is holding you back? Perhaps we can pinpoint the exact issue. Why don’t you sign up and get one free coaching session and I can explain to you what everything is about? Trust me, you are all but alone. If you would like, join WSSA and attend our Speech Masters Club this Saturday at 9 am New York Time (It is every Saturday in fact). You are not required to speak if you do not want to (but you also can if you would like to). You will find a whole bunch of people who are going through the exact same thing as you! It is an hour where we chat and debate. Join us! The Lovett Method is fun, it does not need to be laborious. Don’t take my word for it, come and see for yourself.
