Hi,
Wonder if anyone has recommendations on PWS groups that can practice and talk with each other? I watched a video and the guy mentioned that he joined the group meeting to practice speaking twice a week. Anyone know how to join that group? Thank you!
Hi,
A number of WSSA members have small group meetings once or twice a week and practice crutches etc.
I practice with two other people on a Monday.
Where are you from? One of the people in my group, is in another practice group too.
Hi John,
I live in the States. How can we join the group? And do you join the meeting through zoom, Skype or something else?
Thanks!
Hi,
I’m having a practice group meeting this Wednesday at 10am EST. The host of the meeting is in New York and he has meetings with a number of different people throughout the week. We have been meeting every Monday but someone in the group can’t make it on Monday.
We use Zoom and I can contact the host if you want to join us on Wednesday or when we have the meeting the following Monday. We would email you with the Zoom details and password.
Hi John,
I don’t think I can make it Wed 10am EST. I’ll join on Mondays if the time works. Here is my email:[email protected]
Thanks!
I’m also interested, my email: hejtig[@]gmail[dot]com
Hi CC & Gabor,
I have sent you both emails.
John
Hi everybody, I would be interested in joining a group too. 10 am EST is impossible for me though. So if there is another time from 1 PM EST, please let me know. Thanks.
Amine
Hi Amine,
WSSA is going to have structured group meetings. This will be discussed in greater detail at the SAM talk this coming Saturday.
Kellie,
I just chatted with Ken and he said to get with you on these meetings. I will be happy to help. If you want me to attend one with you or I can have one of my own, just let me know. I think that it is a fabulous idea. This of course, does not take away from the Speech Anxiety Courses. Practicing with other people is basically what we are concentrating on.
You can email if you like or respond this way.
Thank you,
Doug Nelson
