Hi!
My name is Vikram Nandyala, I am 22 and have been stuttering since I was 4.
This past year, I found Lee’s book on Amazon and my life has improved so much. I have been able to get over stuttering and realized that I will never stutter if I never consent to a stutter.
I am living a much better life but I am still working on getting over the fear of stuttering.
This program truly works and I hope it helps many more people to come!
Vikram
Hi Vikram,
I must tell you that when I heard your speech in the SMC meeting, I was blown away! I would never have guessed that you ever had a stutter. You will surely be an inspiration to thousands of people.
Hi Vikram!
I fully agree with what Tasneem wrote. You did great, I doubt I could do it any better!! Stuttering can be defeated, and you’re a living proof of this!
Hi Vikram,
I’m so happy for you and yes, you spoke with so much passion and enthusiasm giving a speech in SMC meeting and your hand gestures added more blood to your speech. It was amazing as we all know that only 10-20% of the speech is what we say and the remaining 80-90% is how we say and it includes body language, passion, enthusiasm, emotions etc .. Well done and I’m waiting for your future speeches as well !!
Wow Vikram, very inspiring! What would you say helped you the most?
Thank you for all the amazing comments!
Marianne, I would say reading outloud helped me the most initially but I can’t decide what helped the most in the long-run honestly. Reading outloud everyday for an hour, doing 2 sessions of auto-suggestions a day and learning the crutches all really helped me in my opinion equally.
One thing I also do is mirror practice. I look at the mirror and keep practicing common words like my name and where I’m from for 5 minutes. Then I do auto-suggestions for 5 minutes like “I can easily say my name”.
I never thought I would get over stuttering but Lee’s methods have proved my old self wrong!
Hope that helps!!
Mirror practice is really helpful. I did that quite a lot, practicing ways of saying my own name, and it has surely helped me.
